Jon Dette is a drummer who has played for Apocalypse, Evildead, Testament and Slayer. Dette joined Slayer in 1996, when Paul Bostaph left to work on his side project, The Truth About Seafood.
Dette played the 1996 Ozzfest and toured smaller clubs with Slayer promoting their, mostly punk covers album, Undisputed Attitude, but parted ways with them in 1997.
- Despite what you may read or are told, Jon Dette did NOT record a single song on Undisputed Attitude. The drums on that album were done by Bostaph.
He has been with a band called PUSHED since 2005.
- February 14th, Dave Lombardo of Slayer was notified that he would not be drumming for the tour in Australia 2013. Jon Dette will be the fill in. It is not known yet if Dave will be back afterwards or not.
