Dave Lombardo is a drummer best known for his work with Slayer. There are stories surfacing that Lombardo will be on the new 2013 Sepultura album.

Biography

Dave got interested in music while exposed to Cuban family get togethers his parents would attend in his neighborhood. His older brother was actually the first person to get him into music by setting up boxes and giving Dave pencils and showing him what to hit while listening to things like Cram and Led Zepplin 2. His first set was a Maxwin by Pearl 5 piece, which he got in 1981.

Dave has 2 boys, Jeremy and Dave JR.

  • February 14th, Dave was notified that he would not be drumming for the tour in Australia 2013. Jon Dette will be the fill in. It is not known yet if Dave will be back afterwards or not.
