The project is based in South - Central Texas, and formed in February 2020<ref>[https://recyclingthedead.com/about.html From their official about page], citing the band formed in Feb '20</ref>. Their first release "Consumed", is Death Metal, but mentioned to be "Experimental Death Metal" by the band themselves <ref>[https://www.recyclingthedead.com/about.html Description of their music] from their official site.</ref>. The current logo was drawn by Carnage, and the band name originate from him as well. All lyrics, song title(s) are also to his credit.
