Various Artists was a side project of Frank Thomas, guitarist of Gridlock. The project was songs Frank composed during the Gridlock years that did not fit the bands style, they were more lost love / failed relationship based ballads.
From 1996-1998, though, Various Artists performed live with members of G-Lock playing Gridlock songs as V.A.
