Various Artists was a studio recording side project of Frank Tomas, guitarist of Gridlock. The project showcased songs Tomas composed during the Gridlock years that did not fit the bands style, that were more lost love / failed relationship based ballads.
From 1996-1998, though, Various Artists performed live with members of G-Lock playing Gridlock songs as V.A.
