Tim "Ripper" Owens

Timothy S. Owens (09/13/1967 in Akron, Ohio) is a singer.

Tim performs with Beyond Fear, Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force and Charred Walls of the Damned.

He achieved notoriety as the lead singer of Judas Priest, and then Iced Earth.

The premise behind the 2001 movie Rock Star is loosely based on his break into fame, a tribute band vocalist who gets a chance to be in the real deal when their singer leaves.
