Sunken Garden Theater
Sunken Garden Theater is an open air amphitheater used for both commercial functions and San Antonio City co-sponsored events. Events at the theater on a regular basis include comedy, Shakespearean drama and concerts ranging from jazz to metal.

- Sunken Garden Theater is located adjacent to the southwest corner of Brackenridge Park.
- The seating currently comprises 872 permanently installed seats and the promotor has the option of adding folding chairs for a total general admittance of 2,700. The general admittance to the fenced grounds of the theater is 4,800 spectators.
- Electrical power available to touring companies is as following:
- Lighting - 600 AMPS 3 Phase
- Sound - 400 AMPS 3 Phase
- Food Booths - 200 AMPS 3 Phase
- The power cables for sound run normally about 50 feet. The power cables for lighting will depend on your choice of positioning the dimmer rack. If you choose to be on near side-50 feet, or far side from supply will run -100 to 120 feet.
- The theater has a cross over tunnel which is located underneath the apron of the stage
- There are two ticket booths located next to the two entrances of the theater
- A telephone line was installed in the lower level of dressing rooms, so when a performing company needs a production telephone, an arrangement can be made with the local telephone company to install a telephone for the period needed
- The theater is equipped with house and working lights
- Dressing rooms are divided in two levels. Each level has five small rooms and one chorus-size room. The capacity of each level is 50 people. All rooms are air-conditioned.
- The lighting position in F.O.H. (Front of House) is inadequate in respect to lighting angles (very low). There are also two metal structures on each side of the stage that can be used as side lighting positions.
- The projection booth can be used as follow spots location.
