Skeletal Remains is an old school death metal band from Whittier, California formed in May 2011. The band was originally called Anthropophagy decided to went into the studio to record a 3 song demo Desolate Isolation in June which included a Pestilence's cover song "Chronic Infection". During the recording of the demo, former guitarist Mike De La O, decided to part ways with the band due to personal reasons. The first demo was finished and they decided to change their name to Skeletal Remains.
