Capharnaum is originally from Avon, Connecticut, later moving to Florida. When they started Jason was 13 and Jordan was 9. Capharnaum was founded in 1993 by Jason and Jordan Suecof, who are the only original members of the band. While still in Connecticut, they recorded and released 1 demo cassette in 1996 called Journey Beyond, which would become on their debut album retiled, Reality Only Fantasized. It was self released and later picked up by Willowtip. It was recorded in the Suecof's Avon, CT home studio. In 2004, they released Fractured, which was recorded at Jason Suecof's (Florida) Audio Hammer Studios, released by Willowtip Records.
