Asesino is a project of Dino Cazares, which has featured members of Brujeria, Fear Factory, Sepultura, Sadistic Intent and Static-X.
The songs are entirely in Spanish and with the same subject matter of death, violence, and perversion. Guitarist Asesino describes the band as "the new Brujeria."
As of March 2011, Asesino are writing the follow-up to Cristo Satánico
"Asesino" is Spanish for "murderer" or "assassin".
