'''Various Artists''' was a studio recording side project of [[Frank ThomasTomas]], guitarist of [[Gridlock]]. The project was showcased songs Frank Tomas composed during the Gridlock years that did not fit the bands style, they that were more lost love / failed relationship based ballads.
From 1996-1998, though, Various Artists performed live with members of [[G-Lock]] playing [[Gridlock]] songs as V.A.
