==History==
'''Suiderbees''' began as a demo recording project with Ryck Herbst and Heinrich Kollner being the main contributors. The band began to gain momentum as the project accumulated members, and they performed their first publicized show supporting '''[[Mind Assault]]''' at their ''Metalzone'' concert at Cape Town's '''Muzone''' in August 2010.
The band has gained rapid popularity in the Cape Town scene in a short period of time, winning them a co-headlining slot at www.metal4africa.com's prestigious '''WinterFest'13'''. In 2014, the band made their first trip into another South African province to appear in Gauteng alongside many of that region's extreme metal acts at '''Emalyth Arts Expo'''. '''Suiderbees''' was booked to support '''[[Kataklysm]]''' in Cape Town on their South African tour in May 2014, and had previously also supported '''[[Fleshgod Apocalypse]]''' in Cape Town.
