Rehearsal in Place is a recording by S.A. Sanctuary. It is the first session to feature their new drummer from Portsmouth, New Hampshire and also the first with Fuentes as a guitarist, previously Fuentes was only the vocalist in the band.

It contains songs from Abandon In Place which was recorded later that year (2000). The versions on this recording are much faster and drum orientated. The aggressiveness of this cd is not on the Abandon demo. It was recorder at Edit Point all live and is unmixed and very raw which makes it rather good. The lyrics and vocal patterns are slightly different than the later release.

Rehearsal in Place is by far, the most brutal recording they have done to date. It was never released and the masters were lost. Only 4 copies (cassettes) were ever made or left Edit Point. They were personal "1 off's" for the band members. Unknown if these tapes are around anymore or what quality they would be in. These songs were recorded over a 2 week rehearsal session at Edit Point in preparation to record their demo.
