There were 3 versions of Promises.

  1. is the most known version, Orrie Velasquez singing the whole song. There are keyboards on it played by their drummer. This one is also on the re-release of Abandon In Place in 2009.
  2. was with Angel Fuentes singing the first verse. This version is VERY hard to attain, especially if you want a good quality copy. Never released in large volumes, it was not on Abandon In Place from 2000. It was on their 9 song DEMO. This demo has proven IMPOSSIBLE to find. This version also has keys on it.
  3. is the same Angel Fuentes Version, but with out keyboards.

Originally, the only song from Abandon In Place that had keys on it was Sacrificial Lamb. The other songs, that now have keyboards on them, were added as the "touch up" at Roid Rage Recordings for their initial release. All the keyboard parts were suggested, composed, and played by their drummer in the studio during 2000.
