biography
Pawns of Christ was formed by drummer Mykill in 2002. Pawns really has not been active until winter 2011. A CD was in the works and possibly a tour for summer 2012. June of 2012, they played 1 show locally then disappeared again. During September 2012, the group disbanded due to unknown reasons. It has been stated during March 2013, on the homepage of the band, they are now playing again and writing material.[1]
It is stated on their official site, the name of the band, is not anti-religion or meant with any negative connotation. [2]
During June 2015, Pawns of Christ broke through to #5 on reverbnation for location San Antonio in the category Metal. As of june 13, they are ranked at #3. The bands front man, Angel C. Fuentes, is in the #1 position almost all of the time since 7/2013.
short history
Pawns of Christ first show was in August of 2003 at the backroom/white rabbit in San Antonio, TX. Their next shows were in October of 2005 with Exodus, Crisis, and 3 Inches of Blood (all Texas ates of the tour).
