'''Moment Of Clarity''' is a Melodic Metal band from Durbanville, South Africa which formed in 2007. Their sound is comprised of intricate melodic guitar passages, a blend between clear and harsh vocals, and powerful chorus lines. ==History== '''Moment Of Clarity''' entered the live scene in Cape Town in 2007. Initially, the band struggled to work their way up in a scene which at that time was saturated with extreme metal acts, and their sound was described by some as too heavy to play rock shows and to meek to rank high in the metal shows. In 2008, the band self-produced a self-titled EP and this propelled '''Moment Of Clarity''' into a stronger position onward until 2011 when the band inexplicably disappeared from the scene. In 2013, '''Moment Of Clarity''' made a dramatic re-entry into the live circuit with their new ''Resurrection'' EP and eighty-percent of the bands original line-up still in tow. Despite the more recent stumbling block, '''Moment Of Clarity''' has enjoyed some lively attention. Career highlights include performing at two consecutive '''RAMfest''' festivals in 2010 and 2011, plus numerous appearances at www.metal4africa.com's '''SummerFest''' and '''WinterFest''' bi-annual day-events.
