Welcome to the Complete Metal Band Wiki!
Our goal is to have the most comprehensive Metal Band archive, period. There are tons of great bands that go unnoticed in other wiki's due to outrageous stipulations. Like here!
Purely ridiculous...
Alot of really good bands do not qualify due to 1 or more of those guidelines, so they are penalized. And on another snobbish Wiki, it's editors can be real pricks about their suggest guidelines for acceptance to their precious Wiki. Why?
Well, not here. Granted, we are not out to be a local band repository, but if a band is good and noteworthy, they should be mentioned. Local bands can be added here, but only by an Administrator. The admin must hear said band and then will decide if they should be included.
Since this is a genre specific music Wiki, we will be able to offer the best in detail information about these great bands. In other words, because all of out contributors absolutely love metal, there will be no conflicts of interest here.
- I.E., (1) some hip hop buffoon that hates all but hip hop, and feels that Thrash Band X has no place in their Wiki, cause they ain't dope crack dealer thugs like Fitty, and cites the page due to the suggest guidelines for acceptance.
- Or, (2), some Julliard snob cites that "Metal" is not a real form of music because they feel it is technically inferior to their standards and suggested the article for deletion.
They will not be here, so there will be none of their filibustering clogging up the pipes of progress, because the only music that matters here is metal.
What you will find here is a number of our favorite metal bands. What images and text (that are not our own) is duly credited to its owner/author. If you wish not to have your images or credited text, please notify us and we will promptly remove it.
This is not a GENERAL public wiki, in which you can just register and immediately edit/vandalize articles. Go do that @ the "famous" wiki encyclopedia, not here. To contribute, you'll have to email us and we'll create an account for you. After which, you will have to validate your email address and account before ANY edits or page creating goes down. We do not want a bunch of bots or idiots jerking anyone around.
