Band was started in 1991 by guitarist / founder, Frank S. Thomas and bassist Mike Trink. Drummer Mike Aresco joined in 1992. Mike and Frank's fathers worked together at an insurance company and suggested the 2 get together. Gridlock had difficulty finding band members for the always vacant vocalist and bassist positions. During spring 1992, Trink went to college (Berklee College of Music). Winter 1993, Mike Dicaprio became the permanent bassist, and  Michael "Mik" Monti became the permanent vocalist.

Gridlock was a hard rock / metal band from New England in the early 1990's.

The band was started as an un-named project in 1991 by guitarist / founder, Frank Tomas and bassist Michael Trnik. Drummer Mike R. joined in 1992, and shortly after named as GRIDLOCK. The band had difficulty finding band members for the always vacant vocalist and bassist positions.
