Dead Skin Mask is a Slayer tribute band. They started in 1991 by drummer Mike Reykjavik in New England. In 1999, Dead Skin Mask relocated to Texas, re-grouped, toured Japan in 2004, and have released a 7-8 song CD according to BlabberMouth.net, an internet metal news site.
They have been voted "Best Tribute Band" in a 2005 magazine called Law Of Inertia by its readers.(beating out another Slayer tribute, which came in #5)
