Abandon In Place cd art (2000)

Also known as Abandon In Place demo

As you can see, some songs are longer on this release, and also titled differently. This is the version of Abandon in Place that was recorded at Hot Wells Studio. It was entirely funded by the band. (some $3500 dollars of studio time and mastering)

Before going to Hot Wells, the band was recording at Edit Point Studios, a popular San Antonio, Texas recording studio. This recording was never released and the master tapes were probably recorded over by Edit Point. It is highly unlikely that these tapes still exist, because the band was unsigned at the time, so no one could claim the unfinished masters. Just what songs were recorded is unknown.

It is unknown how much the band spent for their 2 week studio sessions there, a guess would be around $3,000 USD. (speculation)
